After a long period attempting to reduce our household footprint I came to the conclusion that political activity is more important than individual action. Since then I have been on a search for a party which might be able to accomplish. The Harper (Conservative) government is not only not doing anything constructive about climate change but it is actively blocking effective international action as demonstrated by its withdrawal from the Kyoto Protocol. Under the current leadership, the Conservative Party is a lost cause.
